Rushmere Bike Day Pass Please note the cycling trails at Rushmere Country Park are for experienced riders and are not suitable for novice riders - we recommend you check out the site on foot before you purchase a pass to ensure it is suitable for your level of experience. We do offer an easy Family Trail at Rushmere Country Park for inexperienced riders which does not require a pass. Rushmere Country Park Update As part of our conservation management plan for Rushmere Country Park, we are currently carrying out essential woodland management works. To ensure these works can be completed safely, the cycling downhill zone will be closed from Monday 8th December, and there will also be temporary restrictions and detours affecting walking, cycling, and horse-riding trails. To clarify, the wider cross country, mountain biking trails will remain open and will be improved once our woodland management work has been carried out. This will continue to provide excellent facilities for physical exercise, enable people to build new skills, interact socially with others and there will still be a bike volunteer community that can continue working with us to improve cycling facilities suited to families visiting Rushmere Country Park. Find out more here The future of the Ridge Riders Downhill Zone Vital woodland management work at Rushmere Country Park has necessitated the removal of the bike jumps within the Ridge Riders Downhill Zone. We will be redeveloping the Downhill Zone once the tree management work has been completed, and we will consult with cycling professionals on how we can redevelop cycling within the Downhill Zone area focusing on lower risks and emphasising skill building, whilst still providing riders with a challenge and maintaining fun.
