Rushmere Country Park

The Rushmere Users Group (RUG) aims to establish effective communication between the various groups who use, or have an interest in, Rushmere Country Park and its surrounding area.  It's a discussion forum, exchanging ideas relating to improving the public’s enjoyment of the area, overcoming conflicts which arise, increasing its wildlife and conservation value and preserving it for future generations.

The group has one representative from the following organisations:

  • Great Brickhill Parish Council
  • The Greensand Trust
  • Heath and Reach Parish Council
  • Soulbury Parish Council        
  • Bedfordshire Natural History Society
  • The Leighton Buzzard Ramblers

Also a representative from each of the following interest groups:

  • Horse riders
  • dog walkers
  • cyclists
  • local residents
  • Stockgrove Volunteer Rangers
  • Parents / Carers

Representatives from other organisations and interest groups are welcome.
